DuMont "Cinecon"

Until recently we weren't aware that DuMont made any color film chain equipment, but now we have one (or most of it)  This device uses a flying spot scanner system with a CRT in the large box that looks a lot like a conventional film chain multiplexer.  Each projector has three photo-multiplier tubes in it, one for red, one for green and one for blue.  The outputs of those tubes are amplified and encoded to make a NTSC color signal.
